America’s Cup Marketing Executive
In 2013, Camper, a Spanish footwear company was a sponsor for the Emirates Team New Zealand in the 34th America’s Cup (the oldest sports trophy in the world) held in San Francisco. It involved deploying technology, engineering, design, and research. People from all over the world followed the event in and around San Francisco.
Have you ever seen a boat fly? These boats were 72 feet long with airplane wings instead of sails that flew in just 10 knots of wind. It was an incredible experience.
My job, between Naples, Mallorca, and San Francisco, was made up of a variety of responsibilities: from organizing VIP visits, explaining the regatta, being a guide in San Francisco, and organizing gala dinners, to hotel reception))((, managing internal communications, making presentations, organizing conventions, creating stories for the News Letter, and more.
